BRAKES Can anyone recommend a brake pad for 2008 XB that's better than the stock pads? I have 42K miles and I am on my 3rd set of front pads. Now I need rotors replaced as well and front/bad pads. My driving has not changed, I previously owned a Rav4 which I traded in at 80K, and only had to have the brakes done once! Please help

I have always used Centric posi quite ceramic pads from bap. no noise and barely any brake dust. they normally last a long time depending on drive. let me know if that help or you need any additional info

Last time I did brakes I went with ceramics as well. They're like Eddie says. Eddie can also probably do the work for you as well.

eddie, I am a Service Director with Bill Reilly's Union City Toyota Scion and wanted to show you some of the info on TRD's brake pads that I pulled after reading your post, here ya go. TRD’s high-performance, high-friction brake pads are made from aramid-and ceramic-strengthened compound, delivering an optimum combination of cold and hot friction, along with a high maximum operating temperature and low noise levels. Delivering increased braking performance while decreasing brake fade during repeated stops or extended downhill driving, TRD brake pads are engineered to minimize brake noise and enhance stopping power. The part number is PTR09-42080 if interested.

I used Axxis Deluxe on my xB1 and am highly satisfied but can't find them for the xB2 so I'll probably take the Centric Posi advice...
